‘Talk’ is a new track from the creative talent of Mai Kino. The track is built around a discussion of dissociation, numbness and loneliness through her haunting production and beautiful voice. The video that comes alongside the track, shot in Budapest, is both artistic in its white surroundings and its poignant use of biodegradable materials. She says on the track “I wrote Talk over a year ago, in my bed, in the middle of the night. I was going through a rough period of numbness and creative block....I felt alienated and disconnected from myself and the world around me”. There are musical connections from her eclectic background to the likes of Nirvana, Portishead and John Cage which are wrapped up in the package of this unique piece.
